European Caddies Association Purchases BreakMasters for the 2008 Ryder Cup Team

LOS ANGELES (September 9, 2008) -- EXELYS announces that the European Caddies Association purchased a large quantity of BreakMaster Digital Green Readers to be used by the European Team and their caddies for the 37th Ryder Cup, September 16 - 21, 2008 at the Valhalla Golf Club, Louisville, KY.

The BreakMaster has become the professional standard tool for Tour Pros and their caddies to measure and map greens prior to tournaments. Tour Pros rely on the BreakMaster to give them accurate reads on the way that greens will break. So before tournaments, Tour Pros (and their caddies) walk the course and use the BreakMaster to measure the slope of greens and then make notes of these measurements in yardage books or greens books. Then, during the tournament, they consult these yardage book notes to see how the green is breaking for a given putt. Tour Pros don’t guess the slope of the greens. They use the BreakMaster to tell them the whole story.
